Auto Windscreens is celebrating after its call centre was ranked second in the UK at the Top 50 Call Centres for Customer Service gala dinner last night (Wednesday). The company was also named ‘Best Newcomer’ and ‘Best Service Provider’ at the event, which was held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

The Top 50 Call Centres for Customer Service initiative is in partnership with GfK Mystery Shopping, one of the UK’s leading independent market research organisations. Now in its fourth year, its goal is to help call centres measure themselves against what the public considers to be a good calling experience and to create one benchmark for customer service excellence.

Auto Windscreens is one of the UK’s best known automotive glass repair and replacement companies and 49 employees are based at its call centre in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Auto Windscreens was assessed by GfK Mystery Shopping over a three month period, on its response to more than 100 ‘customer’ emails and in excess of 200 phone calls.
