Beginning his career with 3M Company as a territory sales rep, Gary progressed into management positions of increasing seniority, culminating in his appointment as European Market Development Manager. In 2001, he moved to Securicor Cash Services Ltd as Head of Sales for the UK Region, and then to Fresh Insurance Group where he held the position of General Manager. Gary joined Markerstudy Group in 2009 as Head of Retail.

With over 40 years experience in broking and dealing with all aspects of Personal Lines insurance, Mervyn formed Insurance Connections in 2001. He subsequently sold the company to Markerstudy in 2007 and joined the Retail Division as Operations Director with responsibility for the Insurance Factory brand.

Russell started his insurance career at Swinton Insurance. After nine years, he joined Auto Indemnity as a Business Development Manager. Russell then moved to AXA Insurance as Commercial Account Manager where he worked with a small panel of key account brokers to secure new and renewal commercial business.

Russell joined Markerstudy from HSBC, where his position of Business Development Manager involved the provision of insurance products to insurance brokers/intermediaries in the Midlands region. 

With extensive operational experience in customer service, Debbie has introduced customer-centric processes in a number of industries including Utilities, Security and, most recently, Retail. At Charles Tyrwhitt, Debbie’s call centre won an award for Customer Service in the ‘Top 50 Call Centres for Customer Service’.

Joining the Markerstudy Group in March 2010, Debbie is responsible for customer service across the retail division.

Louise joined a High Street broker in 1998 as a Junior Insurance Advisor. She quickly progressed to the position of Senior Insurance Consultant, acquiring an in depth knowledge and understanding of sales, renewals, underwriting, customer service, finance, FSA Compliance and Back Office procedures over a five year period.

In 2004, Louise moved to Fresh Insurance as Broker Account Manager, where she was subsequently promoted to Operations Manager. Louise joined the retail division of Markerstudy Group in 2009 as Operational Finance Manager.
