Markerstudy makes its Marque on Chaucer Insurance

Markerstudy has announced that, from March 2016, Chaucer Insurance will be re-branded as Zenith Marque. Sitting alongside Markerstudy Insurance Company Limited and Zenith Insurance PLC, the move follows Markerstudy’s acquisition of Chaucer’s UK motor business in July 2015, which extended the Group’s GWP to in excess of £900M and swelled employee numbers by a further 430.

Apprenticeships: Great for insurance?

There has been much talk of late around apprenticeships and ensuring that businesses are building a dedicated programme into their recruitment structure. Taking into account the various regulations and requirements in place, I can see that this raises serious problems for some businesses but there are major long term benefits to those trying to attract fresh blood. We are imminently launching ourselves into the apprenticeships sphere. It won’t surprise you to know that we have put our own unique spin on it!

Fortes Fortuna Juvat: Markerstudy launches Coat of Arms

Markerstudy has unveiled a unique Coat of Arms inscribed with the words Fortes Fortuna Juvat: Fortune Favours the Bold. The Coat of Arms includes the company’s start date in Roman numerals and features the symbols of air (the eagle), sea (the shark) and land (the fox), collectively representing power, speed and agility.

The parade took place on Saturday 11th April at Rockingham Circuit in Corby, Northamptonshire; where 144 MG owners and lovers united to take part in a world first.
