With enormous expertise in the pet arena, and one of the
largest and most dynamic pet facilities, Ultimate Pet
Partners Limited is the UK administrative arm of the
business, providing specialist underwriting capability to
the intermediary market and a direct route to market for
numerous products, including the Purely Pets and
Paws & Claws Insurance brands.
UIC is an independent niche personal lines insurer based
in Gibraltar, underwriting a portfolio of products including
Motor Personal Accident, Motor Breakdown, Home
Emergency, Pet, and Legal Expenses cover.
Acquired by Markerstudy in July 2014,
Supercover is a FCA regulated business,
established in 1995 to provide extended
warranty and insurance to the customers of
mobile phone retailers. Over the last 20 years,
Supercover's business model has expanded to
encompass a wider range of specialist
insurance products, covering most portable
electronic devices and gadgets.
As Supercover’s direct to market
proposition, Gadget Cover benefits from the
vast experience of their senior management
team in addition to offering comprehensive
cover for theft, loss, accidental damage and
extended warranty.
BDML Connect was acquired by Markerstudy in
November 2013 fromCapita Insurance Services. Based
in Portsmouth, the 500-seat operation delivers services
to key high-street brands in addition to their own
products. Offering pet, motor and home insurance, all of
which provide value and choice to a wide range of
customers.

Carmi started his career in mobile phone retail 25 years ago
and spotted an opportunity to offer mobile phone insurance
to the market; Supercover Insurance was born in 1995 and
proudly celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. As the
Managing Director for Supercover, Carmi has learnt a great
deal about the insurance market, TCF and has continued to
develop with the ever changing market.

Amanda
Kerry-Wallington
Operations Director
Amanda joined Supercover in 1999 as a Claims Manager,
moving to a Business Development Manager role and
setting up Supercover’s Reseller programme. As the
company grew over the years, Amanda become General
Manager and was made a Director of the business in 2009.
Whilst responsible for operational management and
compliance, Amanda’s innovative problem solving,
development of systems and control functions ensures the
continued efficiency and smooth running of the business.
Amanda continues to focus on growing the business and
increasing efficiencies.

Managing Director
Paul was a founder member of Ultimate
Insurance Group in 2001 and Managing
Director of Ultimate Insurance Company
prior to purchase by Markerstudy Group
in March 2015. Having started his career
in Insurance with RSA in 1980, Paul spent
many years as a personal Injury claims
specialist with GAN Insurance Company
before becoming General Manager of
Groupama Accident & Health division in
the 90’s. He also has personal lines and
Commercial Insurance experience both
as an underwriter and broker and with
Ultimate an appointed Lloyd’s
Coverholder. A past President of The
Guildford Insurance Institute and current
CII member, Paul is driven by success and
developing business relationships.

Hampshire
Head of Operations
Jacqui has been in the insurance
industry for over 20 years. Starting her
career at Rossborough Insurance, she
then headed up insurance schemes for
Daewoo, Daihatsu, Mazda and Proton.
In 2000, Jacqui became the Marketing
Manager for BDML Connect and
progressed to Business Development
Manager in 2003. In 2005, Jacqui
moved to Ultimate as Operations
Director, overseeing Compliance, HR,
and the development of products and
accounts. 2009 saw Jacqui take
responsibility for Ultimate Pet
Partners and she continues today to be
responsible for growing the own
brands of the pet business as well as
developing and improving the in-house
system capability.
